Mitch Jakeman is a highly experienced mining engineer with international roles in Australia, America’s, Turkey, Africa and Asia.

He has worked for major coal sector corporations as a CEO, COO and site General Manager (Anglo Coal, Shell, Rio Tinto). For a number of other companies he has undertaken Managing and Non-Executive Director roles. He has proven engagement and delivery at corporate, site, government, community and board level, with significant corporate and site turn around achievements, sustainability results and cost reductions as well as productivity improvements. Mitch understands and has been involved with related water matters as well as integration with broader community and government interests regarding gaining project approvals in Australia and West Africa.
